I was pulling up to a stoplight and the EPS electrical power steering light came on and warning of power loss to steering wheel, low engine power and auto start stop indicator light was also illuminated. I put the car in park turned the car off and back on and then the system reset and I was able to drive normally. This is a brand new car that I purchased Monday (2 days ago)
I was stopped at a light and the check engine light came on, warning sounds and low steering power light flashed. Car would not move. I was able to put the car in park and turn off and back on and was able to proceed. Dealer found no error codes or defects when I took it to the dealership. They are keeping it for more diagnostics.
This is the second time I am reporting this issues. This time I got a video of it. On Feb 2, I was, again, at a red light and a buzzing alarm started going off with the error showing as âEngine Stopped. Steering Power Low.â Then it would flicker to show âEngine Stopped. Press brake firmly to restart.â At the top it said âIgnition Onâ. When it does this I canât drive the vehicle. I have to put it in park and then restart the vehicle from the start/stop button.
