In the affected vehicles, the flexible steel cable that connects the seatbelt to the front outboard seating positions may fatigue and separate over time.
If the steel cable becomes fatigued and separates, the seatbelt may not properly restrain the seat occupant increasing the risk of an injury in a crash.

In the affected vehicles, increased resistance in the driver and passenger seat mounted side impact air bag (SIAB) wiring harnesses may result in the SIAB and seat belt pretensioners not deploying in the event of a crash.

I HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE POWER STEERING PUMP ON MY VEHICLE. I HAVE HAD IT REPLACED 6 TIMES NOW IN A TOTAL 6 MONTHS, I HAVE A NEW ON E PUT IN IT AND IT GOES OUT IN A FEW DAYS. THE RACK N PINION HAS BEEN REPLACED AS WELL. I NEVER LOOSE ANY FLUID THE PUMP STARTS MAKING A SQUEALING NOISE AND THEN GOES OUT. I BELIEVE THERE IS A ISSUE WITH THIS PUMP, THE DEALER NEEDS TO LOOK TO THIS. THEY WILL NOT COVER THIS AT ALL, EVEN I HAVE THE BURDEN OF PROOF THAT IS NOT MY FAULT AND IT KEEPS GOING OUT.

I RESEARCHED THIS ISSUE AND ITS COMMON. I THEN CONTACTED CHEVY WHO ADMITS THIS A COMMON ISSUE BUT YET AN RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUE !! WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG? HELP !!
THE BATTERY FAILED TO RECHARGE, THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN (ELECTRICALLY SPEAKING). MY WIFE AND 2 KIDS WERE STUCK IN A CAR WITH NO AC, NO ABILITY TO RECHARGE HER CELL PHONE TO CALL FOR HELP, ON A HOT 100F DAY. THANKFULLY, SHE WAS ABLE TO CALL A TOW TRUCK. AFTER 2 DAYS IN THE SHOP AT RON BAKER CHEVY IN SAN DIEGO, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE ALTERNATOR WAS FAULTY. BOTH THE ALTERNATOR AND THE BATTERY WERE REPLACED. *TR
