This past week, I was sitting at a red light with my foot on the brake (not the gas) and all of sudden, my truck slammed into gear hard enough that I thought I was rear ended. I actually had to look to see if a car did hit me. This happened to me twice this week. Also, several times this week, I was just letting go of the brake and the car slammed into gear, jolting the car as well. just letting go of the brake, the car jolted as well without pressing on the gas. It wasnât a smooth transition from letting go of the brake to pressing on the gas.
When sitting at a stop light/stop sign/a complete stop, the truck will switch to electric mode... after about five to seven seconds, the truck "jumps" -- if feels like you just got rear ended. Truck currently at the dealership with no known ETA on repair.
