IN ADDITION, THE GAUGE CLUSTER IS ALWAYS ILLUMINATED, WHICH DOESN'T ALERT THE DRIVER TO THE FACT THAT THE TAILLIGHTS ARE OFF, DECREASING NIGHTTIME VISIBILITY. THE OLDER GAUGE CLUSTERS WERE BETTER. THIS IS NOT A SPECIFIC INCIDENT, BUT A DESIGN FLAW.

THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
