Car is not driving well, roaring sound and jerky acceleration. Transmission pump is faulty on a new car with less than 3000 miles.

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while driving very slowly and making a left turn, the vehicle abruptly stopped nearly causing a rear end collision. The contact discovered that the transmission had erroneously shifted to park and failed to shift back to drive. After a while the contact was able to drive the vehicle to his parentsâ residence. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 536.

Pulled up to a stop light 2 min later and automatic breaking locks up and the vehicle completely locks and shuts down. Unable to reset/turn off/on or shift. Had to be towed to dealership.
