THE FAILURE OCCURRED AFTER DRIVING APPROXIMATELY THIRTY MILES OR MORE. THE CONTACT MEASURED THE TEMPERATURE OF THE KEY AND STATED IT REACHED 101 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND A REPORT WAS FILED.
