Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2023 Soul, Sportage, and 2023-2024 Seltos vehicles. The electronic controller for the Idle Stop & Go oil pump assembly may contain damaged electrical components that can cause the pump to overheat.

An electric oil pump assembly that overheats increases the risk of a vehicle fire.

When driving the 2023 Kia Seltos on several occasions, it lunges / jerks / lurching forward frequently. At times, when Iâm at a stop the car seems as if itâs going to stop by jerking, or lunging or not getting enough gas. I took it to the Napleton Kia in Calumet City, IL on 2/4/2023 but they say they didnât find anything. It has occurred: 2/9/2023; 2/16/2023; 2/22/2023; 2/27/2023; 3/3/2023; 3/7/2023; 3/13/2023. The lunges / jerking / not getting enough gas has occurred when the weather seems to be damp and or wet ( rain or snow).

When the stop/ go is on .. it some times stalls and will not move when pressing petal.

The vehicle acts like it is trying to change gears when I am driving. This is the third time I have noticed this on the last few weeks. Maybe power train ?

My car sensors go off when they arenât supposed to. My front collision sensor goes off when cars are 2 cars in front of me. My side sensors will go off when Iâm im the only one on a street. My console has electrical issuesâ¦ internal issues. This car qualifies for Lemon Law. Thatâs how many times I sent it in and they were unable to repair it. Please investigate Kia 2023 seltos. Thanks
