Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2014-2020 Rogue and 2017-2022 Rogue Sport vehicles equipped with a jackknife style ignition key. The jackknife key may collapse into a folded position while driving.

Driver contact with a key in the collapsed position could inadvertently shut off the vehicle while driving, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, if the vehicle shuts off while driving, the air bags may not deploy in a crash as intended, increasing the risk of injury.

The check engine light came on out of nowhere. Took it to the auto zone and Nissan dealership. States the engine is over heating and needs a cooling compartment. However the cooling compartment is on national back order

My car overheated. when I took it to my mechanic, he let me know my cooling fan assembly needs to be replaced, there is not a single cooling fan assembly for a 2017 Nissan rogue sport SL available in the continental US. Nissan has no idea when they will have the part available again, and neither do any of the aftermarket vendors such as AutoZone. This leads me to think that every single rogue in the country has had a problem with the cooling fan. I understand supply chain issues, but this is ridiculous.

My vehicle has stalled twice now while I am driving. The dash lights all turn off and the car just stops going. Once it stops, I canât start the car unless I physically remove the key, put it in park and start the car again

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport. The contact stated that occasionally at start-up and while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would stall without warning. The contact used a code reader to diagnose the failure, but no results were found. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and informed him that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
