Toyota Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022 Lexus LX 600, Lexus NX 350h, Lexus NX 450h+, Toytoa RAV4 Hybrid, 2021-2022 Lexus LS 500h, Toyota Mirai, RAV4 PRIME, Sienna, Venza, and 2020-2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid vehicles. The Skid Control ECU software may not turn on the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) system when the vehicle is restarted after the driver has disabled the VSC system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."

Driving with a deactivated stability control system increases the risk of a crash.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022 Sienna vehicles equipped with seating for eight passengers. An incorrect seat belt webbing guide may have been installed on the outboard second-row seat belt assemblies.

During seat belt pre-tensioner deployment, the incorrect webbing guide may damage the seat belt webbing, causing it to tear and increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Service brakes mileage not reported 8 mo in service

When Iâm braking, some times, the car seems to lunge forward for just a moment. Itâs very unnerving. Itâs almost like itâs slowing, but then surges forward for just a moment. Weâre at 2k miles and have had it happen ~5 times now. Once it happened and shot me forward into traffic, thankfully there wasnât a car right there or I would have been hit! Very scary, I feel like Iâm not in control of the car at all. It definitely needs to be looked into more.

While applying brakes vehicle lurches forward. While coming to a stop at a red light with a car in front of me I was slowing down applying brakes and all of a sudden it was just like they released for a second and had to stand on them. Does not happen all the time but I see many complaints about it. This has happened so far 8 or 9 times maybe more. May have to do what you eat generative breaking going to normal breaking power. Have reported it Toyota and they said it's normal it's not normal it's a safety issue

When breaking at a stop sign or light, the vehicle occasionally feels like it surges forward and I'm accelerating instead of breaking. This causes me to push harder on the brakes, which then seem to mechanically engage and then stop the van. I've had the van for a year now and it happens a few times a month, especially if I breaking on an uphill incline.
