A reflection caused by the headlight housings may illuminate areas above the vehicle and outside of the driver's view with excessively bright light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The bright reflection may cause a glare for other drivers, reducing their visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Chevrolet Camaro, as well as certain 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles, equipped with power height adjustable driver and passenger seats. In the affected vehicles, the bolt that secures the driver's and passenger's power front seat height adjuster may fall out causing the seat to drop suddenly to the lowest vertical position.
If the driver's seat unexpectedly drops, the distraction and altered seat position may affect the drivers' control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC TERRAIN. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH AND SHIFTING FROM FIRST TO SECOND GEAR THE VEHICLE JERKED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TWICE AND THE TECHNICIAN PERFORMED UPDATES TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO LUNGE AFTER THE UPDATES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 800.
TRANSMISSION SLIPPING/JERKING ON MY GMC TERRAIN SUV-SLE MODEL. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 2TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. THEY SAY THERE'S NOTHING WRONG, BUT IT'S STILL JERKING, IT'S HAPPEN WHEN THE GEAR SHIFTING (IT'S AN AUTOMATIC) THE CHANGE OVER IS NOT SMOOTH. THE MECHANIC SAYS IT'S DOESN'T HAPPEN WHEN THEY DRIVE IT OF COURSE, BUT THIS DOES NEGATE THE FACT THAT IT IS HAPPENING. PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE CHECK INTO THIS PROBLEM. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS HARD AND JERKS AT TIMES, DEALER STATES IT SHIFTED FINE WHEN THEY DROVE IT. IT HAPPENS MOSTLY IN SLOW RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. I WILL SEE IF IT CONTIUUES AND DRIVE IT WITH THE DEALER ON THE NEXT VISIT. IS HAS ONLY 8000 MILES ON IT. *TT
WE PURCHASED THE GMC TERRAIN WITH THE 4 CYLINDER ENGINE FOR THE GAS MILEAGE OF 32 MPG, AFTER GETTING ONLY 26 MPG WE CALLED GMC AND TOOK THE TERRAIN IN FOR SERVICE. ALSO FILED COMPLAINT WITH GMC. WAS TOLD THEIR WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. THE ENGINE MAKES NOISES AND RUNS ROUGH AND STALLS AT TIMES MOSTLY IN THE MORNINGS. AFTER SERVICE NOW WE GET ONLY 25 MPG.
