A reflection caused by the headlight housings may illuminate areas above the vehicle and outside of the driver's view with excessively bright light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The bright reflection may cause a glare for other drivers, reducing their visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.

I TOOK IT TO GMC DEALERSHIP AND THEY REPORTED THAT THE OIL WAS LIKING FROM THE LEFT SIDE TERRAIN LIFT GATE TAILGATE HATCH-ACTUATOR 23432304. PART NUMBER 23432304 FOR 2013 GMC TERRAIN. THIS COULD SERIOUSLY HURT SOMEONE. I HAVE TURN MINE TO OFF AND HAVE TO LIFT IT MANUALLY. NO FUN. IT'S HEAVY.
TAKATA RECALL HI I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2013 GMC TERRAIN AT A DEALERSHIP SINCE NOVEMBER 15. THEY WERE TAKING CARE OF SOME BODY DAMAGE IT HAD. AND WHEN IT WAS DONE THEY SAID I CANT TAKE THE TERRAIN HOME BECAUSE IT HAS A RECALL AND THEY CANT GET ANY RPLATES FOR IT. HONESTLY I HAVNT EVEN TEST DRIVE IT. I DONT THINK ITS FAIR TO PURCHASE A CAR AND CANT TAKE IT HOME UNTILL GOD KNOWS WHEN. STILL TODAY THERES NO REMEDY.
