Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2014-2016 Honda Odyssey vehicles. The second row outboard seats have a lever to fold the seatback and slide the seat forward to access the third row seats. Due to a manufacturing error, if the walk-in release lever is used to fold a fully reclined left outboard seatback forward, the seatback may stay in the unlocked position (free-folding) or unexpectedly unlock without engaging the walk-in or recliner lever.
An unlocked second row left outboard seatback increases the risk of injury to the seat occupant during a crash.
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2011-2017 Honda Odyssey vehicles. The second row outboard seats can slide sideways to one of two positions. If a seat is placed between either of the two positions when attaching the seat to the vehicle floor, the seat will not latch properly to the seat striker, allowing the seat to tip forward unexpectedly during braking.
If the seat tips forward during braking, it can increase the risk of injury.

The affected vehicles have second row outboard seats that have a release lever that allows the seats to move for easier access to the third row of seats. This release lever may remain in the unlocked position allowing the seats to move unexpectedly.

SECURITY ALARM GOING OFF AT RANDOM TIMES. INITIALLY, UNLOCKED AND LOCKED WITH REMOTE. IT WENT OFF AGAIN MULTIPLE TIME BY ITSELF NOTHING TOUCHING IT OR ANY DOOR BEING OPENED. SEEMS IT IS KNOWN WIDE SPREAD ISSUE WITH HOOD SWITCH AND OTHER SWITCHES CAUSING ALARMS. HAVE TO LEAVE THE CAR UNLOCKED OVER NIGHT BECAUSE IT WENT OFF MID NIGHT FEW TIMES. DEALER SAID IT SEEMS IT IS HOOD SWITCH(BASED ON DIAG), BUT DID NOT HAPPEN WHEN IT WAS AT DEALERSHIP. NO PARTS AVAILABLE, SO HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL PARTS COME IN.
WHEN I TRIED STARTING THE CAR SEVERAL TIMES IT WANTS TO TURN OFF AND ON BY ITSELF. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS FLICK ON AND OFF WHILE THIS IS HAPPENING. THE WHOLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM GLITCHES AND THE CAR ENGINE WANTS TO "TURN OVER" THEN SHUT OFF. I HAVE TO PUSH THE START/STOP BUTTON ON THE DASH TO STOP IT.

THIS HAPPENED CONSISTENTLY EVERY TIME WE ACCELERATED TO OR DECELERATED TO 20MPH. TOOK IT INTO HONDA THE NEXT DAY AND THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM. THE JERKING WAS VERY STRONG AND CONSISTENT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR OR DRIVING. WE ARE STILL PLANNING TO CALL HONDA, IT SEEMS LIKE OTHERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE BUT NO ROOT CAUSE HAS BEEN FOUND. *TR
