Failure to illuminate the stop lamps during braking or inability to disengage the cruise control could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, when the ignition is in the 'ON' position, the transmission shifter may be able to be moved out of Park without first applying the brake. This may lead to unintentional movement of the car which may increase the risk of a crash.

AT 11,985 MILES THE CLUTCH ON OUR 2007 HYUNDAI TIBURON WENT OUT. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS BECAUSE OF THE DRIVER. IT WILL COST ~$1,200 TO REPLACE, BECAUSE CLUTCHES ARE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. I DID SOME INVESTIGATING ON LINE AND IT APPEARS THAT HYUNDAI HAS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE CLUTCH THEY INSTALL ON THESE CARS. SOME INVESTIGATING NEEDS TO BE DONE, AS CLUTCHES TEND TO GO OUT WHEN ONE IS DRIVING. THIS CAN LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT. (I WAS NEARLY HIT DRIVING OUR CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE THE CLUTCH WOULD NOT ENGAGE). *TR
