THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED REPEATEDLY BEFORE COMING TO A STOP. THE IDENTICAL FAILURE OCCURRED TWICE. CURRENTLY, THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DIAGNOSED AT AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THE DATA RECORDER WOULD BE USED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 NISSAN VERSA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WHEN IT ROLLED BACKWARDS AND CRASHED INTO A WALL AND ANOTHER VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DESTROYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, BUT THE FAILURE WAS UNKNOWN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND THEY TOOK A REPORT. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO GIVEN A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
THE CAR SEEMS TO HAVE VERY LOOSE STEERING OR IS REALLY OUT OF ALIGNMENT. FEELS LIKE I AM BEING BUFFETED BY A STRONG WIND. THE STEERING WHEEL DOESN'T MOVE, BUT THE CAR PULLS LEFT AND RIGHT.
