The kits were sold as an accessory for certain 2005-2021 Ford F-250 4X4 and F-350 4X4 pickup trucks. The foam ring inside the stabilizer "through shaft" may block the piston ports, possibly causing the steering to lock up.

SHACKING OF STEERING WHEEL THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT WITH OUR TRUCKS, IT'S A NATIONWIDE PROBLEM THAT IS VERY VERY DANGEROUS. IN A 10 MILE RIDE IT WOULD HAPPEN 3-4X AT 70 TO 75MPH HITTING THE SLIGHTEST BUMP, THE TRUCK WOULD VIOLENTLY SHAKE. I WOULD HAVE TO SLOW DOWN TO 20 MPH FOR IT TO STOP. VERY DIFFICULT ON A HIGHWAY! *BF
JUST BOUGHT TRUCK FROM FRED BEANS OF BOYERTOWN. TRUCK HAS VERY HARD SHAKING WHEN HITTING A ROUGH PART OF ROADWAY WHILE TRAVELING AROUND 50MPH AND UPWARD. ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF TRUCK. IT'S HAS ALMOST LIKE A DEATH WOBBLE. VERY SCARY. WON'T STOP UNTIL TRUCK GO ABOUT 15 MPH. HAD FAMILY IN TRUCK IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE.
THIS IS A 2019 F-350. THE DRIVERS DOOR LATCH FROZE. I COULD NOT CLOSE THE DOOR UNTIL THE TRUCK WARMED UP AND THAWED. THE WEATHER AND TRUCK WERE DRY AND COLD. IT HAD RAINED TWO DAYS EARLIER. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN IN 2019. *DT *DT*JB
