The issue happens after parking overnight, and the issue will go away after restarting the car. No-fault light shows up. The problem has not been reproduced by a dealer since it is intermittent. The issue is reported to the manufacturer, but no actions from the manufacturer have been taken. The issue does pose a safety risk to me and other road traffics since the problem may happen anytime on driving.
The sunroof exploded outward, after being driven earlier in the day then parked in our garage. We went to pull it out of the garage again and didnât even leave our driveway and the sunroof exploded. Researching the issue seems to have uncovered an existing problem with Hyundais that the manufacturer has not taken responsibility for yet. Seems like the government should get involved.
