In these vehicles, the front seat passenger Occupant Classification System (OCS) may incorrectly classify an adult passenger as a child or classify the seat as empty despite it being occupied.
If the passenger frontal air bag does not deploy as intended in the event of a crash, the passenger is at an increased risk of injury.

MARTIN NISSAN (5240 GOLF RD, SKOKIE, IL 60077, (866) 800-1100) INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAILURE WAS NORMAL AND THE VEHICLE DID NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
WHILE GETTING AN OIL CHANGE AT 62000 MILES, IT WAS NOTED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK AROUND THE TRANSMISSION. WE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE NISSAN DEALER AND THE NTED THE TRANSMISSION CASING WAS CRACKED. THE CRACK IS A STRUCTURAL FAILURE, NOT TGE RESULT OF A PHYSICAL DAMAGE.

TRAFFIC WAS GOING ABOUT FIVE TO TEN MILES AN HOUR SO I KNOW IT WASN'T A ROCK THAT HIT IT. PLUS MY LOCATION WAS NOT UNDER ANYTHING THING, NO TREES, NO BYPASSES. DEALERSHIP IS SAYING A ROCK HIT. GEICO IS CALLING IT COMPREHENSIVE DAMAGE (HIGHER DEDUCTIBLE, INSTEAD OF GLASS REPAIR ($50 DEDUCTIBLE)). I WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING, GLASS FELL IN THE BACK SEAT.
