Turned my hazards on a proceeded to safety. Definitely nerve racking, wouldnât want this to happen when merging lanes in fast moving heavily traffic road. Accident waiting to happen. Toyota is completely silent about it.
I have a 2023 Tundra 1794. From a stop there is a noticeable delay sometimes from the time I press the gas pedal to the time the truck actually starts moving. This has caused me to almost get into two serious accidents because the truck would not go.
I was in the right lane on the 15 southbound from mesquite heading towards Las Vegas. Got into the passing lane to pass a semi and all power was lost after cutting over. I had to immediately cut over back to the right lane after passing the semi and pull over to the shoulder. This was a very dangerous situation and I have heard of others with the same vehicle going through the same thing. I do have video evidence of the situation as well. I will contact Toyota tomorrow
