General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, and Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. The roof-rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator, or the inflator sidewall may rupture.

A separated inflator end cap or inflator rupture can allow compressed gas to escape, resulting in the end cap or other components being propelled into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, 1500 Crew Cab Special Service, Tahoe Police Pursuit/Special Service, GMC Sierra 2500, and 3500 vehicles. The brake pedal pivot nut may loosen, causing the brake pedal to be loose or inoperative.

If the brake pedal becomes loose or inoperative, the driver may be unable to stop the vehicle by using the brake pedal. Additionally, a loose pedal may also interfere with the accelerator pedal. Either condition may increase the risk of a crash.

VEHICLE HAS HAD SEVERAL ELECTRICAL ISSUES, INCLUDING BACKUP CAMERA NOT FUNCTIONING, RADIO INFO SCREEN DISAPPEARING, TRACTION CONTROL MUST BE TURNED OFF IN ORDER TO HAVE REASONABLE THROTTLE RESPONSE WHEN UNDER 40 DEGREES OUTSIDE, MOST SIGNIFICANT IS THE FUEL PUMP FUSE BLOWING MULTIPLE TIMES AND SHUTTING THE ENGINE DOWN WHICH CREATES AN UNSAFE CONDITION SINCE THERE IS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. CHEVROLET UNWILLING TO REPAIR AND IS REFUSING TO RETURN CALLS ON MY INQUIRY ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THIS VEHICLE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND A LOSS OF POWER WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING POSITION SENSORS AND THE GEAR BOX WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURES RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 15,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
