STATIONARY CAR OF ONLY 4.5 MONTHS AGE, WAS HIT IN REAR ON 15 MAY 14, AND WAS KNOCKED 15 FT INTO ANOTHER CAR. THE DAMAGE APPEARED MINOR THOUGH THE OTHER CAR WAS TOTALED OUT. ON 9 JULY14, THE BATTERY FAILED FOR NO APPARENT REASON. IMPACTS CAN DAMAGE THE BRITTLE LEAD CORES OF BATTERIES. WARRANTY REPLACED THE DEAD BATTERY BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE BY THE OTHER DRIVER'S AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY. LUCKILY, THE BATTERY DID NOT CATCH FIRE BUT; HOWEVER, WHEN NUMEROUS BATTERIES ARE INTER LINKED, FIRE IS A VERY REAL RISK AND IT CAN OCCUR WEEKS LATER WHILE IN THE GARAGE AT HOME. *TR
I WAS DRIVING IN A CARLS JR PARKING LOT AND STOPPED FOR ANOTHER CAR. WHEN I WENT TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE PARKING LOT, THE CAR PUSHED ME FORWARD AND THEN I LOST ACCELERATION FOR 2 TO 3 SECONDS.
