Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling various Dodge, Chrysler, and RAM vehicles equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims for Passenger Cars."

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1500. THE CURRENT VEHICLE MILEAGE WAS 7,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
THE VEHICLE WILL FAIL TO START INITIALLY. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS THE VEHICLE WILL START AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL APPEAR. ALSO SOMETIMES WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE WILL CUT OUT AND THE DASH WILL GO BLANK AND HAVE ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED, I.E. ABS, AIRBAGS, ESC, TPMS, ENGINE MIL, AND SERVICE AWD. THE WIPERS WILL TURN ON BY THEMSELVES AND THE BLINKERS OR HAZARD LIGHTS WONT WORK. THIS IS CONCERNING DUE TO THE LACK OF AVAILABILITY TO WARN OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD. *TR
