Driving Jeep and engine stop, only had steering no brakes fortunately our speed was less than 10 miles per hr and we were in a parking lot. There is only about 770 miles on vehicle and weâve owned the Jeep 3 weeks. Our concern is what would of happen if we were in heavy traffic, it was rush hour at the time? The dealer is picking up car tomorrow but that doesnât fix our concerns!
Two separate incidents, my Grand Cherokee L has less than 100 miles on it. I pulled into a drive thru restaurant and the vehicle completely shut off, still in drive mode. Then 5 minutes later I went to pull into a parking spot, I put the vehicle in park, then it shut off again.
